Congress got bunch of votes because of blunder of BJP last time. And that was nuclear deal. Other factor was, MMS was very popular and people thought he could not do many many things because of left. Advani was not and is not very popular so MMS scored over Advani.

Recent trend is voting is increasing and that is very positive trend.

Do you know about riots in Gujarat in '85? Why nobody blames Assam PM? Fortunately for everybody Gujarat has this decade in years where there is no riot. While we are having PM who has no clue to the ground, Naxals are getting stronger. If we have PM like current one for 25 years, Raja Bhaiya will rule India. In congress there were many strong Mafias gangs in Gujarat. I am not saying there none right now. But compared to past, it is nothing.

We don't need Just sikh PM or Dalit speaker or cook president. We need quality first. BJP had muslim president for whom almost every Indian be proud of. Why did congress rejected him for hopeless president. I would any day prefer Kalam over Pratibha. I don't need to look if one is Muslim or hindu or sikh.

Goa has many Chritians and they had reservation about BJP. I am sure they are happy with current CM.
