I've always felt that the monopolies jointly held by our media and bollywood elites should be challenged through market liberalization. We should allow in more foreign media outlets and more foreign filmmakers, to provide more competition to our domestic left-wing media/film moghuls.

Some increased business competition will put these scheming jaichands on the ropes, and reduce the attention they can give to churning out their left-wing biased movies and media coverage.

I'm a big admirer of Rupert Murdoch's FOX media ventures. He has really lit a fire under left-wing news outlets like CNN, through his FOX News. At least people have a choice and diversity in the news coverage they see, instead of having one viewpoint shoved down their throats.

For the market to function effectively, it must offer choice.

Another worrisome factor is that majority of today's youth gets affected by what media shows them.

They get the wrong impression that there's nothing wrong in the misbehaviour of these new age idols (the likes of Salman, Sanju baba and worst of all, Rahul Mahajan!)

There's not much social stigma.

Here's a MUST READ article...
