ADHD=attention -deficient hyperactivity disorder,a neurodevelopmental disorder, primarily characterised by the coexistence of attentional problems and hyperactivity with each behaviour occuring frequently together .james montier depicts this problem by showing the average holding period for stocks on the nyse between 1920-2005.today the average holding period is around six months!in the 1950s and 1960s investors used to hold stocks for seven to eight years.at a one yr time horizon the vast majority of your total return comes from changes in valuation- which are effectively random flucuation in prices.at a 5 yr time horizon, 80% of your total return is generated by the price you pay plus the growth in the underlying cash flow.investors have a distinct bias towards action.not only do they desire quick results they also love to be seen as doing something as opposed to doing nothing.all mens miseries derive from not being ableto sit in a quiet room alone.alternatively winnie the pooh pointed out never underestimate the value of doing nothing! from the little book of behavioral investing by James Montier

Apart from ADHD there are many occupational hazards: BP, indigestion, ulcers of various kind, ED, insomnia, anxiety
related disorders ....etc.
