ITI- A speculative Stock

1. A LOSS MAKING PSU, Current order book is INR6000 crore. BSNL and MTNL are the only customers.
2. 2005-2007 it was a punter stock (ranging from INR32-72)
3. IN 2009 the company is making news time to time and the management have appeared in CNBC TV at least two times in this year to talk about the plans of GOI on ITI
4. GOI is trying to revive them including allocation of special guaranteed order from BSNL and MTNL
5. Company is working for JV from foreign companies
6. GOI granted around 2000 Crores to save the loss earlier this year.
7. Telephone is yet to reach in rural villages more than 65% population and hopefully BSNL will engage in supplying  telephone lines to villages of India even in loss
8. Every connection needs a  dialing instrument
9. There is a demand
10. There may be some other asset of the companies though looking for annual report and followed by judgment on them about its future may not be correct
11. Can a successful JV make a sweet turning dial tone  for this company
12. I see block deals on this share yesterday in NSE – I am not sure what is cooking here.
