I am fascinated with companies that consistently generate high RoEs.

Basant Sir, In the history of stock markets (India or abroad), has any story repeated itself after pause? As u say telecom and infra story is over. I am just thinking that what will happen when say consumer story is also over? Will any old story repeat then? Just thought to ask this to you as you have studied markets over many decades! Thanks!

Basantji, I want to just add to MR TED's query. Are financials good bet for all bull markets?

Please read the RoE thread for this, we do have targets but they are more of signposts then destination symbols.

I've never heard of desk equity but the equity desk is a department in an investment bank or asset management company that deals in stock trades. Perhaps this could make sense here. And get nice information at here.
