Topic: Congratulations to Mr. Omshivaya Posted: 11/Sep/2006 at 4:58pm |
Dear Mr. Omshivaya,
Congratulations on having become a Senior member at the forum of www.theequitydesk.com. You have posted over 100 messages. Had it been a cricket match you would have qualified for the fastest century. Great to have a Shaid Afridi. on board.
We look forward to your active participation in the times to come. We hope that your crash management methods would have helped the members take evasive action today or did the crash come too fast and the methods a bit too late in the day.
Keep sending in those messages.
Regards,
TEAMEQUITYDESK

Oh thanks a bunch TEAM EQUITYDESK. Well as I said, this fall is very small and I can take it easily. If it falls below 10,500 then I would think of redploying my rest 10% cash and wait for the next few years.
To me today's fall was not surprising. I was getting a bit worried with the current rally not having had a single meaningful correction. If it goes to 11,000 that would a good correction for me.
Thanks again for your kindness and all of Basant jee's posts.

Wah jee kya baat hain!! Congratulations on your promotion as senior member!!
OmShivay jee, one sincere request to you (now that you are senior, this is a very sincere and humble request!!), why in the world would you wait for certain BSE Sensex levels for your cash deployment strategy? Please please please be stock specific, let the index be at any level. Have you noticed that the last few hundred points on the index uprise were contributed only by few heavyweights like ONGC/RIL/Infy?
I hope you will agree with me on this point.

Actually, I look for both index levels and my stock. First my stcok of course. Suppose the stock has declined as much as I require it to deploy my rest of the cash, then I go ahead with it. Index levels I use only as an added tool to find out when the market would take breather from falling. I am sorry if I meant otherwise.
I was looking at my existing holdings and since they didnt go down as much(like nucleus), hence I looked at the index next. I am sorry to have meant something else.

Congrats Om..
Your name describes you as a person (a spiritual person)..You would not only have defeated Afridi or our own Dhoni.. But you seem to have defeated Lightning, which is very good to see. Also the diverse intrests which you share is something worthwhile commenting on. You gave us some real intresting point of views on "Crash Management", which is really worth appreciating.
Keep Going....

Anyone who says something good about someone else is actually a very good person himself. If you say I am great, you are the one who is truly great. Try thinking objectively about what I just said...it's not philosophical but simple science.
Thanks for the kind words and let's all grow together!
