While Benazir was as much anti India as her peers this is a sign about how much affection political leaders have to their chair! This is not new to Pakistan just that the mode has changed earlier one leader used to openly kill the other and today the outcome is the same just that the process has changed.

Om Namah Shivaya!

Very Sad news indeed! I saw it sometime back on TV channels too. Nawaz Shrif also escaped a bid on his life today! All this violence makes me throw up really!!! Shame Shame!!

Although it does not matter now whether she was pro or anti Indian, she was a courageous lady who lost her Father, 2 brothers (all of them executed) but she still wanted to return to Pakistan and do something for her country.

I dont think she had only power in her mind but that depend on people how they interpret the situation!

I somehow feel sad about the whole thing.

But has she done anything in the past against fundamentalists? Why was she targeted?
