Bubble the Shanghai Index has Doubled in 6 months(100%) seems a perfect Bubble (not you )so if it does down by 10% , not a big deal.

You are absolutely right, vip1. That market rose abnormally high in such a small time. The chinese cousins of Mungerilals (called Mung Hua Sua) poured millions during last couple of months to participate in "can't miss the" rally. Excessive leveraging was deployed, some even pawned houses/real estate. Mung Hua Suas are now paying the price.

Watch BBC news...they have some interesting news coverage on this.

A pin lies in wait for every bubble and when the two eventually meet, a new wave of investors learns some very old lessons. --- Warren Buffett

Across the board Plunge in the Equities (Developed and Emerging) ...Swiss Down 3%, South Africa down 3% .. and so on.

Looks like my Co-orelation (which had gone negative) will again turn positive as the Markets collectively take a Tank****

Yes, excellent and very pictorial analogy by Mr. Buffett. Thanks for bringing to our notice Kulman ji.
The most important quality for an investor is temperament, not intellect.A temperament that neither derives great pleasure from being with the crowd nor against it

chris roberts our friend at clsa and a technical analyst expects a 25% correction in asian equities which will provide a major buying oppurtunity from the 2007 lows the asian markets should then advance by more than 100%,so according to dr marc faber the risk of not owning asian equities is higher than having to endure possibly an intermediate 25% correction.as aresult he is still long on asian stocks.meantime jim walker another friend of ours at clsa thinks that the companies that will perform best through the next CYCLICALDOWNTURN will be the true winners in china and asia.
understanding both the power of compound return and the difficulty getting it is the heart and soul of understanding a lot of things
