Sorry, I take back my words !
I have also deleted my last 2 posts on this topic ..

But, i would like to say to you that you have ignored the word 'would' in my "bold red" sentence

English word "would" does NOT mean surety, it means possiblity or probablity.. See 6, 9 and 1a) of http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/would

The topic started as a discussion point to some TV program which was understandable then people started coming up with imaginations which is clearly unacceptable.

Discussing opinions on a TV show is normal but to extend that into imagining trades for someone whom you do not know is not done. You could fall into trouble for shooting in the dark.

RJ obviously ought not to have any uncovered/unsquared off  positions in Reliance Petro,RNRL and Infosys(at the time of telecast of interview).Else,CNBC AND RJ are not doing the right thing to put it euphemistically.

That's exactly my point as well - Why on TED do we have to create this topic called "Is RJ bearish ?"

What is the meaning of such questions and such topic - if we cannot know whether RJ is long of short or sqaured or open !!

Mr. Bull as far as I am concerned the details of RJ's portfolio have been taken from the exchange websites and are therefore public material.

As regards statements made by members this is a public forum and the site has no relation whatsoever with people who come on board with their comments.

I have also elaboartely replied to you by mail.

We have debated on opinions and we continue to do so.Anything away from opinion could be questioned.

Although in my opinion Prosperity said the thing in not a wrong spirit by saying "he would have" , so that remark may be okay. However, I wanted to object to the remark made by a forum member regarding he had some insider information regarding a particular company. I am sure you all can make out what i am referring to. I will request the moderator not to allow such things being posted on the website as this has the potential of getting under the scrutiny when perhaps most of us are investors who trade on the basis of fundamentals, technicals and F&O open interest wise. Even though, Mr. Basant has issued a disclaimer to that effect, yet I will request the admin to be strict with respect to such posts. All I would say that even though we may debate, fight, or indulge in bickering, yet we must totally understand that nothing should be posted which has even a semblance of a chance of putting the site in jeopardy. Also, forget the exchange, even we as investors should discourage this practice of trading on the basis of insider information. I wont blame the member that the scrip 's price went against his expectation for price behavior doesnt have anyone's control. However, one must be very clear as to what may constitute a breach of the spirit of the site. Hope this post is taken in the right spirit.

Why is this thread suddenly reminding me of Bombay Times.
All gossip and no substance! Wink

They say on the kind of bull market we have in India is that Big Bull become Bears and then converted to Bull again before everything perished.

Please note that Investing in stock market can result in financial loss. Make your own judgement before investing on any company.

Yesterday CNBC showcased a program about Budget in which Rakesh said he is not bearish but what he feels is that THIS IS AN YEAR OF CONSOLIDATION and the index would be range bound

Also the real interesting point was the way Sameer Arora and Rakesh were targeting each other and the way Rakesh rubbished claims made by Sameer
