Looks scary at 6 times BV and NPA over 1% in a scenario where bigger banks have reported a slowdown in credit offtake.

CBoP Q2 net profit seen up at Rs 37.6 cr


Religare has come out with a report on the Q2 FY08 preview for the banking stocks. According to the report, the CBoP is expected to report Q2 FY08 net profit of Rs 37.6 crore, up 20.7% on YoY basis.

During the same quarter, its net interest income is expected to be at Rs 163.6 crore, up 21.1% on YoY basis.

Equity has expanded like a balloon so yearly profit growth is no use. LK bank was loss makng and for the next couple of quarters that will take its toll.
 
CBOP is more of a 2009 story for the absolutely patient investor. I am trying to beocme one.

Seriously speaking, in BFSI sector you seem to be inclined more towards pure banks. Why not integrated players offering gamut of financial svcs?
