Try Schweser or maybe ebay but I am told study material is sold near the Fort area in Bombay.

I am engineer working in L&T and a fresh investor too.
I have started reading CFA course material from Schweser to get the basics of investing but i havent registered for exam yet.
I would like to know the job opportunities for engineering + CFA (+ 2yr work ex in defence industry)
I know my graduation and work Ex. are not at all related to finance but still, engineering + CFA without MBA what kind of job can i get?

Do we have CFAs in this forum?? please, your view will be valuable to me...

Can we start a separate thread for CFA??

A CFA from AMIR is equivalent to a MBA from any of the top B Schools so you should not think twice before opting for it.

Hye Basantjee,

I am 36 years old and reside in Amritsar and am into my family business.I have done BBA and worked in a private bank for 2 years after my graduation.
Of late, I have developed a strong liking for Int. CFA and want to pursue it.
After a gap of so many years, Can I do CFA. Will my age be a barrier?

Is there any institute/college in North India which teaches CFA material?

Or is it  totally a self based study programe?

What are the job prospects for me if I clear this prog.?

And finally Is it a wise decision?

It is a great decision if you want to leverage this degree to work for others but if you want to invest on your own read some 50 books and you should be well on track. Though it is self taught, it is always better to seek guidance because there are no fixed study materials etc.
