one way to stop these auto spammers is using text authentication/email verification before joining

Basantji,

Would it not be a good idea to have a netmeeting or webex for TED members? You could probably address on a quarterly basis.
I believe TED might not have had the opportunity to host an ALL member's meet anytime.

If you're prepared to invest in a company, then you ought to be able to explain why in simple language that a fifth grader could understand, and quickly enough so the fifth grader won't get bored.

do we have a thread for discussing the macro economic situations at world and india levels. Cant seem to find one around here. Most of the stuff is segregated in different threads and difficult to collate and make sense of.
Can some one start a thread about the Euro situations and indian macro economic situations please.
