Dear Basant,
I have been a member of this forum for a little less than a month and today I have become a Senior Member. But my humble suggestion to you is that you must consider changing the criteria of 100 posts for Senior Membership. Because just posting 100 messgaes should not make anybody a Senior member, including myself. It is all about quality of posts, stock ideas a person gives and the help a person gives to other members in the forum in terms of clarifing doubts etc etc that is most important.
I would like to congratulate you for starting this wonderful forum. I think we are having some very good meaningful discussions and also discussing some wonderful stock ideas.
Keep up the good work.
Thank You & Warm Regards
Equity Buff

Equity, with due respect to you. That way the promotions would become very subjective. That is why I suggested to change the criteria from 100 to 1000 posts or maybe something like "minimum 3 months since registration" AND "500 posts" for senior member.
Anyhow, I dont think we should concentrate too much on this seniority and stuff. Let's focus on stocks.

Firstly apologies for not having created a congratulation page for your becoming a senior member. Will do that right away. ANd yes, we would look up to that because as the audiance increases the "100" figure looks very small.

Om,
I think there is no need for any kind of promotion(Senior, Super Senior etc there is no need). Members of the forum in a very short time will see posts from different members and will easily figure out who they want to track(automatic Senior for them) and who they dont.
It is all about contributing to the forum for the benefit of all.

In fact that is an xcellent suggestion. No promotions nothing! That solves the problem to a large extent. Nice suggestion equity. Let's see what Basant jee thinks.

My first impressions of the website.
You may take these with a pinch of salt.
- Too many advertisements
- Found it difficult to navigate around
- The forum tab was not there amongst the others and that’s what I was looking for
- The registration button was hidden somewhere, I almost gave up registering because I couldn’t find it
- Too many advertisements – I say this again
- I like the idea and the conversations on the forum were excellent
- I am here to stay
- Do try to make it a little more user friendly and less heavy on the ads
Cheers
