Markets may fall by any percentage.
I don't know.
But we won't get these good companies at cheap prices, except in these markets.
I've said I may be wrong.
I don't want to get into an argument with you.
I absolutely respect your views and also realize that I'm just a novice.

By the way, Lloyd's equity will be diluted.
So EPS growth won't be 33% or whatever you mentioned.

Dear Kumardiweshji ,masterji,and Basantji
I respect both of your view points.Kumardiweshji may pl. give further give information on the equity dilution of lloyd electrics and its growth prospects.Basantji has also mentioned about 68 times pe for 2010 earnings. Is there something which I dont know about the company? My basis for byuing into this company was:
1)Price to book value
2)Its presence in Indian railway and likely push to turnover due to Garib Raths and other AC coaches
3)Increase in Commercial refrigeration
4)Consisitent past earnings
5)Decrease in Copper prices thereby reduction in production cost of copper tubes.
Pl. guide.

Bh. Shipyard is witnessing steep fall. I understand the conversion rate for FCCB , due in December 2008 is Rs.505/-.What will be the impact on the company? What is the status of shipbuilding companies in view of overall slowdown in demand and fall in prices of crude oil? Is it over for companies like BH. Ship? How the company should be valued now?

Like for everything else there is a lot of bad sentiment about shipping right now. Baltic Dry Index (measure of shipping rates) is taking a hammering.

thanks for giving viewpoints.day before yesterday, booked losses in lloyd electrics and added 75 shares of icsa @ 150. Quite a good advantageous move after following the discussion here.
