Basantji,

Since we are talking of the report card here, I think it would be good to compare the performance with some some index, say Sensex. Is it possible to mention how the TED XI has performed w.r.t. Sensex (adjusted for Bonus, dividend etc.)?

I think smeone has done some work on that. I am not keeping that score but on last quarter it was probably 10 percentage points above the Nifty.

In simple words, if someone followed the TED XI stocks by investing equal amounts at the beginning of October 2006 and if every quarter since October 2006,  they would rebalance the portfolio and align with equal weighted TED XI, the portfolio would be up 52% even after the roller coaster of 2008-09. Comparatively Nifty is up about 42% over the same period.
