If only Election Commission was a company & had a stock listed in NSE/BSE.. it would have been skyrocketing now....with all the attention it is receiving from media...
Often we forget there's a company behind every stock, and there's only one reason why stocks go up. Companies go from doing poorly to doing well or small companies grow to large companies.

Basant agree with you , I think M Singh & Co is ready for confrontation, and high time they let the hanging noose out of their neck!.
I feel is that maybe like UP elections people will this time give a majority to either Cong or BJP . But we all have to be prepared for Short term pain.

Wrong! It would have been taken over by Amar Singh through an open offer at 100% premium.

I am not sure if this true...may be speculation but the congress is prepared for elections..it seems that they run their own hedge fund and pulling out funds..and also heard that RJ has sold out most of his portfolio....
We can be in for a rough ride in coming months...I strongly feel that SEBI is just not doing enough ..Government interference is just not good..

Hi! It is the govt that controls SEBI and not the otherway round. Also RJ is not God to have sold out when markets falls he also becomes poorer so let us not get into that discussion about RJ!!!

There is no harm in posting but we should distinguish between rumours and information. I would say it should not matter if RJ or anyone for that matter is selling or buying because we are investing for ourselves not copying what anyone else is doing. Also at such times we should try and put in correct information which we believe to be absolutely trueand as far as RJ is concerned not even the people working in his office would know whether he is buying or selling.
