I agree with the assessment Devesh. Except for film production(which is risky business), they have been doing the right things in the past 6 months. They have been plagued by the delays in the opening of new screens.
When Basantjee wrote about PVR in Oct 2006, they were expected to increase no of screens from 60+ to 240+ in 12-18 months. However asof Sept 2007, they were operating only 89 screens.
However, assuming management has more visibility for next 2 quarters, they have projected to open 30 screens by end FY07-08. That means roughly 35% increase in the no of screens over the next 2 quarters. Also their tie ups on Food court is extremely interesting as it can generate good business with good margins, (if they execute well) though they have only minority stake. Even with existing screen the company should close the year with profits of around 24-25 cr giving an EPS of 10-11/sh. That means that the stock will be available at PE of 19-20 FY08. also promoters have been issued stock warrants at 215/-, FII have 32%+ stake so it gives reason for being optimistic atleat for next 12 months..
The latest communique is attached..

Taare Zameen Par is a HIT bcoz now Aamir will be going all out for publicity. Saawariya which was a pathetic movie managed to garner 60crs  thanks to its publicity.

Who made Saawariya? (Is it the same person who made Black, Khamoshi , Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam etc?) One of the worst and pathetic (dont remember the better word to describe !!)

The only good thing about this is  such stupid and rubbish movies  can also make 60 Crs. !! Future is good for Multiplexes (at least people go to watch the 1st and 2nd show before the news come out !)

I see the songs in TV (Tare Zameen par), since I have small kids in my family and relatives, I wish the movie to perform. Amir Khan do not open his shirt frequently (on screen) and comes once or twice in an year but he always remains in the mind of people in any Holly-- discussion
