Problem is the best one Blue Dart is hanging under the delisting hammer. For new sectors it is always safer and profitable to bet with the sector leader.

Yes its definitely the sector leader. But what about Concord? Is it worth investing. Can Future logistic  be a  dark horse?

Generally it is tough to disrupt establish leaders but Future Logistics is Ok not the only thing to invest in PRIL.

Dear Sir,

Thanks again. Sir what can be our strategy if the sector leader is not listed or is going to get delisted ( e.g Blue dart) in a particular sector. Shall we ignore the sector or pick the number 2.

Personally I do not like being with the number 2. Number 2 or 3 are generally laggards in terms of business growth and potential when compared to number 1. So if an investor has a thinly diversified portfolio he could buy the No.2 or else stay only with the leaders and ignore the sectors where he cannot get one.

Dear Sir,

Thanks again.
You mean to say that if Pril becomes No 2 some day we must sell it as we have a super concentrated portfolio ( or Pril is an exception as the sector is huze).

PRIL or TV18 - anything that becomes a number 2 (not for one quarter) is a complete sell in a concentrated portfolio. Here we should not anticipate a company becoming number 2 but actually wait a bit (and lose some money) to see it become number 2.Many times anticipation gives out incorrect indications.Smile

Dear Sir,

Yes we must be prepared to lose some money. Thanks again.
But how to decide whether it is No 2 now.
