Basant Sir,
Great selection. By the way I entered in this scrip much earlier once its potential for healthy returns was visible. Can I also hear from you about RALLIS?

How about including IDFC as "retired" and showing it's returns also? That way it's a comprehensive picture of having stayed invested in a team.

Another thing to do is to build the TED XI Index - assume equal weighted investments in every stock, normalized to Rs. 1000. Then, what is the index value now - probably is 5,000 or more. That way, replacements can be adjusted for (i.e. 2006 to 2008 consider IDFC, later consider Zydus)

If you like I can build an excel sheet of this. Am assuming IDFC is the first to get retired?

I have been informed, Basantji, that you are not fond of cyclicals...But there are two bank stocks in Ted XI recommended in 2006, fag end of last credit cycle. However I don't doubt they are fantastic companies, and handsomely rewarded the stockholder.
Can one look at acquiring banks now as we are at the lower end of the new credit cycle?

Great inclusion, Basantji!
I would like your opinion on one education sector stock like Educomp/Navneet.

With large banks you cannot do significantly better then the index but they are steady growth machines.
