Raghav is selling off his personal stake in TV 18  and he will be alloted shares in the holding company (Network 18) so he still manages control of thsi company.

The problem arose because Govt wanted single largest indian shareholder to hold more then 51% and Raghav held only 26% in Tv 18. The new company Network 18 will hold 51% in Tv 18 and Raghav will have 51% of Network 18 thus effectively Raghav controls (51% of 51%) that about then 26% in Tv 18.

So Raghav is selling off his Tv 18 stake to be alloted shares in Network 18.

Now Network 18 will be listed and each shareholder of Tv 18 shall receive shares in Tv 18 as well as in network 18. They would spin off and Web 18  sometijme next year once their various internet properties achieve traction. But Web  18 is not confirmed and for the other two everything has been decided.

Investors will get 12 shares of network 18 and 14 shares of  TV 18 against each Rs 5 paid up share of Tv 18.

Right now Tv 18 is Rs 10 paid up and is about to be split into two shares of rs 5 each.

Mr. basant, will be extremely glad if you draw out the plan for GE Shipping and GE off-shore and the valuation each would command post de-merger.

Sorry, I meant that please draw the plan as to what should be the present value of GE Shipping as per the drawing you laid out for Split Cement and Split Construction Limited. Can you arrive at the likely post-merger market capitalization of both the entities.
