Akzo Noble CEO has started talking a lot to media recently, looks like a focus on branding and building investor confidence in erstwhile lacklustre ICI. Its a good sign, lets hope it results into action and visible in financials too.

Even in a flat market Akzo Nobel shares has seen buyers comprehensively exceeding the sellers. Good buying interest is observed though the volumes were not large probably owing to the low floating stock.
In a market where reasonably valued stocks are in short supply, shares like Akzo Nobel are getting greater attention.

ICI is undervalued due to its lethargic legacy, not Akzo mgmt has given new hope. Stock is deeply undervalued relative to its peers. It will go up more in near future.
