Being a good CFA /CA /MBA is different from being a good and intelligent businessman .Ideally a person should be a good CFA/CA /MBAas well as a good businessman .While there is a method or path to become a CFA /CA/MBA there is no specific path to become a good business man .Some are great business thinkers by birth ( i.e family genes )  , some acquire through voracious reading , some through association with other businessman and some a combination of the above 3 .

But I would say that its is relatively easy to become a CFA/CA/MBA but very difficult to become a great business man ( i.e business thinker ) as in the former case there is at least  path how to become but in the latter case there is no specific path .

To achieve satisfactory investment results is easier than most people realize ; to achieve superior results is harder than it looks .

Investments is a Science as also an art.

Science part of investments can be learnt by being a C.A./C.F.A. But the art part of the subject of investments is an entirely different territory.

Successful investor is one who understands both. All great investors have analytical skill for numbers coupled with the ability to see beyond numbers. It is the combination which is the recipe for success.
