While some of the new ideas introduced like Kotak Bank  Reliance Capital really hit throuygh the roof. In fact all financial stocks seem to have become a new flavour with anticipation of slackening interest rates and a flood of liquidity

The market is like a relay race where one sector passes on the baton to another, and so on. Media first, Capital Goods next and now financials. The question is - what next?

Yes, and anyone who tries to play the 4X100 is disqualified either in the second or the theird lap. better to follow the marathon Ambani both in habits as well as in stocks!

Very well said Basantji. I used IFCI as a trading bet simpley because it had
already been a 3 bagger(from 8 to 24 levels) and i thought the risks were too much. It ended up going up from 22 to 103!! Cry
I also have learnt a very good lesson through this experience.

Question is IFCI was not discovered until it was a 3 bagger and even then a  person could have made a 5 bagger thereafter – I learnt it by not partcipating in it. Just reinforces a hindsight word of wisdom “It is never too late to buy”.

The market is a place where people with money meet people with experience.
The people with experience get the money while people with money get experience!

Left tarding in 2001 so I am out of sync with that aspect of making money.Would urge you to try your hand at investing. It is normally more profitable and less stressful!
