Hi all there,

Iam Chartered accountant.Iaws working last with Trinethra,Hyd,into treasury management.
I have 4yrs of work exp.
Iam not able to find that growth into the jobs which I have done till date in Corporate Finance.I just wonder if I go for some further course in CFP,(Financial planning),CTM(treasury management),or diploma with IIBF.
I cannot go for a regular course as Iam settled in Hyderabad ,so these courses if I do I need to do correspondence ones.
Can anybody suggest me what should I go for.
Is CFP course going to add value to my CA degree and give me an edge, and shall I b able to bag 4lacs plus salary with it.

Thanks
Sweety Agarwal

Dear sweetyagarwal,

Welcome to TED !

I am surprised that you are finding the need of an additional educational qualification merely to reach higher in the corporate ladder. From what you state, you would be happy to bag 4+ remuneration in a decent, growth oriented job.

Do appreciate that all the degrees are more of an introduction and without them, we cannot open certain doors. However, with your C.A. qualification, and age on your side, you do have bright future in financial services, banking, retail, media, telecom and a host of other emerging services.

With your experience of treasury management in Trinethra, why don't you try with a whole lot of retailers flooding the country ? Or may be, you may be happy to get cross industry exposure.

I do not know if you are prepared to relocate from Hyderabad but if you are, getting a decent job in a growth industry with job satisfcation ought not to be a problem.

Best of Luck !

Namaskaara Annavare! What kind of returns have USA Index MFs given in the past few years?

Over past two years us index returns have been around 10% annualized. This is the total stock market index - wilshire 5000. Pales in comparison with Indian returns but that is what you get for diworsification Ouch

Well Yeah.........Reading This Forum For Quite Some Time..It Is Really Nice And Diffrent Here.
My name is chirag and i am 28 years old.

Education : DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL ELECTRONICS.

WELL U KNOW WHEN I READ ABOUT HOW PEPOLE MAKE 50 BAGGER AND 10 BAGGERS IN THIS MARKET IT MAKES me fill angery and jeaolus but mostly angery.

now why i feel angry..... it is because my whole family worked like crazy and earned every single rupee with the sweat and blood.

Now i feel cheated by life that we were stupid so that every other guy is milking this market and making easy money.

Well one another thing ...dont u guys think this bull market has lasted more longer then any previous bull market.

Well in last .....keep up the good work and keep making the moolah

Hi Chirag,

Life is all about opportunities and the risks that go along with such opportunities. maybe the guys got in the markets in 2003 took that opportunity with or without understanding the risk but we cannot complaint. They made money because they deserved to make it.

Always remember this market never lets the undeserving person keep the money though it may allow him to make a windfall but the exit load for the undeserving guys are far far higher then we think.

Enjoy and we hope that you benefit from TED.
