Dear Friends,

The Indian Association of investment Professionals (IAIP) a U.S CFA member society had organised a book reading event on 'The Thoughtful Investor: A Journey to Financial Freedom Through Stock Market Investing'

This two hour session conducted on May 03, 2014 was video recorded by the organisers and has now been put up on YouTube. The event was interactive as I tried elaborating on the extracts of the book that was read out and then took up questions from the audience on the same.

Basant ji,

I liked the video (quality of audio of moderator could’ve been better) and enjoyed your investing thoughts and take on Graham formula in particular. I’m not on BC so can’t say what we discuss there but I agree multiple value investing forum profess bookish stuff without any practicality.

Amidst that, your investing insight is unique with immense sense of context. My compliments on your sharing and contribution to the investing work!
Someone’s sitting in shade today because someone planted a tree long time ago.
