Anyone else?

I'm also using FF 3.6.3 but on MacBook. I dont see any spike in cpu usage despite having 10-12 TED tabs opened. Though, site is slightly slower.

I am with Windows XP3. When I visit TED with Internet Explorer 6, no problem even with many windows (no tabs in IE 6).

With Firefox 3.6.3, and only with TED, first page no problem when I open subsequent TED tabs the progress wheel in each tab goes on even if all material is loaded and CPU usage goes from 3-4% to +50%. I see this for some days now.

And it is not spike: usage stays at +50% until I close all other tabs but first.

This post is with IE 6.

I use Firefox 3.6.3 and have no issues at all with multiple tabs.

Okay.Thanks. Must be some problem with Adblock or Noscript. I don't have problem with other sites and multiple tabs there. That's why I asked here.

Disabling AdBlock Plus for this site solves my problem.

Pardon my question but I am almost ignorant of too much computer knowledge. How do u disable adblock plus?
Stockmarket is a weird place. For every person who buys a stock there is a person who sells it and both think they are very smart.

If you use Firefox and AdBlock Plus, on the top right hand side should be a red circle/hexagon with ABP written. Right-click on that and make your enable or disable choice. After you disable on a page or site, the red changes to green.

I hope this helps Smile
