This reference is to animated movies in the US and not to India.These are foreign(mostly US) MOVIES done by TATA ELXSI in INDIA.So Indian companies have low production cost advantage.As a aggresive plan of ELXSI,the company has set up a hightec studio in Los Angeles on 7DECEMBER.
Now about the cost in US is about $100million.Infact conventional animated movies in US are made around $175million.Further 3D animated movies cost$300million.There is big difference in cost between India and US for obvious reasons.Just to simplify it is said(?) that Tom Cruse takes $20billion per movie,the highest paid actor in world.
