BJP should be re elected to lead the nation. with prime minister l k adwani , the finance minister narendra modi has done a great job on economic front despite the pull and pressure of  r.s.s.  their five year performance cosidering the colition compulsion is noteworthy. the growth rate they maintained, nuclear agreement with usa, right to information act, midday meal scheme and pradhan mantri  gramin sadak yojna are some of far reaching programme.

What MMS did was directed by IMF and that was compulsion. Now we don't have compulson so they are doing NREGA(read: big scam) and loan waiver. They stopped privatization, slowed down road projects, infra projects. And they have started talking abt reservation in private sector. Hight of liberalisation!!! Have you ever though of nightmare business ppl have abt reservation? If Govt starts telling IBM whom to hire and whom to not, IBM and many more will vote with their feet.

Inspite of all that, GDP grew at an avg. of 9% for 4 years (except for FY09) , much higher than during the NDA government.

BJP manifesto also states they will waive off farm loan !

Economics is not on/off switch. Good work and bad work takes time to come in effect. If you remember BIg bull mkt had already started in 2003. Mkt saw growth even before UPA came to power. But when they came to power in 2004 mkt fell 17% in single day. It was not due to some global cause or unwinding of futures. It was becuase they had opened their mouth. PC's Current budget is a scam if you ask me. Had oil prices stayed there India was heading to Argentina way.

Doesn't it make sense that you and I spend our money our way rather than Govt spending our money in their own way where large amt of money turns black? What is your choice NREG program or lower tax?

It is the responsibility of the State Govt. to implement the NREGA scheme while Central Govt. job is to release the funds. We will know whether the NREGA was a success or a failure only after the election results are declared. Let the rural voters decide.

I have no problem with the current tax structure.
