Frankly ... I never have any problems with anyone changing their views from Bearish to bullish or vice versa as everything in this world is based on Change.

Look at seasons, Earth's position, Markets ...and ever our feelings ...everything is based on Change.

What irrirates me is when certain analysts think themselves as the Only "Value" or "Disciplined" guys... I am sure that there are many prople who have these qualities.

And MR STUDENT ... I for one now look at CNBC has a comedy channel as.....

"The biggest cause of trouble in the world today is that the stupid people are so sure about things and the intelligent folks are so full of doubts."
Bertrand Russell

And Student....

Value and Price go hand in hand...

If there is no price for value.... It will look UGLY. Value needs price to identify it.

Can anyone explain me that why "value stocks in the sugar sector because of Ethanol story" went down and "Praj with the same ethanol story" went UP.

After all price identied value in Praj!

Dont worry Deveshji,

Since its long term fund he will not sell them unless ful value is realised.(No matter how long it will takeSmile)

I am holding ABN which you have mentioned.

I remember RD bullish on TTHM/tata teleservices  for last 2-3 years but the price is stagnant not moving beyond 25 Cry Just imagine last 2 years were fantastic for markets and telecom very high grwoth sector... Same money he could have put in Bharti, he would have been sitting on a multibagger... (But anyways he has another strong  multibagger(Nucleus) to compensate for that !!

Bubble,

Praj is to Sugar plants like Great Off-shore, Aban Lloyd and Atlas Copco is to E&P companies. HENCE THEIR STOCK PRICES NEED NOT MOVE IN TANDEM.

Regards,

I think you guys have missed the point that the reason he is always taking about Quantum Long Term Equity is because it is a novel concept introduced by him in the mutual fund industry and CNBC gives him an opportunity to
promote his fund without any marketing expenses.

Mr.Dayal has never given the impression that he is the "only value investor", we cannot critisize him based
on our perception.

Mr.BubbleVision
Before you clear your confusion about "value" and "price"
I think you need to clear your confusion about Praj Industries and Sugar Companies.

Relax guys and watch CNBC TV-18 - a comedy channel!!!

I am absolutely clear in my perseption about Praj and Sugar Companies... That is upto value guys to debate...

For me they are both price "trends"....One UP and another "Down".

Student - Study the markets History!
and lots of it... Right from US 1847 to 2007...only one thing is common... "Price Trends" while fundamentally some time they were "Value" while other time "Growth", some time "yields"!

Anyways this is enough for me in this matter. If someone doesent understand "Price trend" it is not my problem!
