Chinatrust Commercial Bank selects factoring solution KASTLE
3i Infotech is proud to announce another win for KASTLE™ Factoring Solution at Chinatrust Commercial Bank (CTCB) , Taiwan. CTCB is the largest private sector bank in Taiwan and a market leader for factoring business with a whopping 30% market share.
The decision comes after a comprehensive selection process, comprising of a stringent RFP evaluation, which resulted in a shortlist of 5 internationally acclaimed vendors. This was followed with series of presentations and discussion sessions to ensure the solution meets the bank’s requirement. The whole selection process stretched over eight months of intense deliberation after which 3i Infotech was chosen for its all round product and domain capability.
With Taiwan being the second largest factoring market in Asia, after Japan and 8th largest in the World, this multi-million dollar deal with CTCB provides us with a significant footprint in Taiwan as well as the other big ticket Asian factoring markets of Japan, Korea and China. This win also establishes 3i Infotech as one of the few companies world-wide offering a credible solution on contemporary technology in the niche area of factoring. I thank CTCB for choosing us and extend them a warm welcome to the 3i Infotech family.” says Debneel Mukherjee, President 3i Infotech Asia Pacific.

deveshji its almost sure that 3i is really in for some exciting times considering their products demand and attractive valuation and its more than comfortable revenue exposure dollar.
Can anybody please provide some info about the mangement and their competence. If it scores on that as well then we have one more solid multibagger at hand. The kind of valuations it is trading i feel there is very limited downside(9x pe for 09 if I am correct).

It still a 40% CAGR play bcoz i dont know the total outstanding shares which will be increased as a result of FCCB's concersion and ESOPs.
I look at this way: 1800 crs revenues in FY09. Since product companies are acquired at a market cap/sales ratio of 1.5-1.7, 3i's market cap should be in between 2700 crs -3000 crs in 6-8 months.

3i Infotech's aggressive plans on managed services make it a player to reckon with in this space.
| Companies that have a products and services mix are better positioned to offer greater ROI to clients.
As per a study by Ovum, the market for managed services is expected to reach $4.5bn by 2009.
The competition is intense but 3i Infotech's deep domain expertise will help it garner larger mandates from this space |

ICICIdirect.com said it has initiated coverage on 3i Infotech Ltd with an 'outperformer' rating and a price target of 178 rupees.
The broker said 3i Infotech is one of the best plays in the mid-cap IT space, affected to a lesser extent by the appreciation in the rupee compared to the dollar.
The company is also expected to derive about 30-40 pct of its revenues from transaction-based, device-based and per user-based pricing over the next three years making the business more back-ended, the broker said.
3i Infotech's acquisition-led strategy to acquire new capabilities and foray into new geographies in the BFSI space has worked well and the broker believes it will continue to go forward.
