Most of the fund managers are just ignorant, every trader knows that a stock delivers 100% return once a year why then we are not witnessing fund NAVs having good valuations the best thing is to stay away from mutual funds, do your own research and buy good companies. Most of the funds are owned or backed by industrial houses and we never know where the actual money goes. In India it is easy to eye wash.
Analyzing and Forecasting the markets. The goal is help traders make informed trades. Nothing helps, no tools, software but a human logic.

Stock exchanges pitched for abolition of the Securities Transaction Tax ( STT) on equity trades at their meeting with Finance Ministry (FM) officials
The issue of removal of STT was raised by representatives of different stock exchanges, including BSE, National Stock Exchange, MCX-SX and USE.

Means every company once during the year is pushed to perform!

Like Nifty is expected to go up the 5550 -5650 levels by global triggers from QE3 announcement today!

However, that's expected to be a short term rally as our domestic policy paralysis would not support it for a long term...

He is not talking about Nifty, he is saying that a stock delivers 100% returns once a year.

Even someone like Buffet cannot make that claim that is why I am asking on what basis is he making that claim.

This means that you have effectively diversified your risk when compared to another investor who buys and individual share.
